We are learning to create a positive digital footprint.

We often share personal information when we are online. The people we share with could be our friends and family or people we don't know. We need to make smart decisions about what personal information we share online.

Are You Making Healthy Choices?

Our senior syndicate was very fortunate to have Doctor Sandhya and Faye talk to us about making healthy choices. We learned about what kind of food is nutritious and packed with energy and then what food is unhealthy and harmful for our bodies. It was an excellent learning experience because it helps us be more aware of the food we eat everyday. We were also very lucky to have a healthy meal prepared for us. Thank you to students at NZMA for preparing a nutritious and delicious meal!

How Strong Is Your Password? by Tupou and Riiana

Tupou
I have been learning to create a strong password and it has to be unique or special. I learnt that qwerty is a weak password. My top tip is to don’t share my password with anyone.

Riiana
I have been learning how to make a secure password. I learnt that qwerty is not a secure password and also personal information about you is obvious to guess. My top tip to create a strong password you should use letters from phrases, song lyrics and poems to help remember. You could also use capital letters and lowercase.

Auckland Museum Trip

To extend what we've learned about ANZAC day and to commemorate the soldiers who served, rooms 9 and 10 were very fortunate to visit the Auckland Museum. We saw the names of the New Zealand soldiers who fought in war, the resources they used during war, letters soldiers had written to their families and many other significant artifacts. We were really lucky to see first hand what they used and also learn more about the heroic stories of Australian and New Zealand soldiers.

Here is a compilation of photos from our memorable day.
