If I were to vote who was the best to memorised the dance (except for Jess) I would say Agueer because every time I look at her we both know the dance! We are going to do Hip Hop on Tuesdays for the next 6 weeks. I am going to be excited to memorise more Hip Hop dances!
Welcome to our Room 10 blog! We are looking forward to learning, creating and sharing on our personal blogs and class blog. Leave a comment and stay connected. We hope to see that learners from our Manaiakalani cluster are viewing and learning from what we share. If you're from anywhere else in New Zealand or even the world... Welcome!

My Mum by Sebastian
My mum is the best thing ever in my life
I would do anything even if I have to sacrifice.
She is kind and she is great
I wouldn't stop or even take a break
She gives me her love and even her trust
She is respectful and sometimes likes to laugh
Lastly she is there and always has my back.
She will always keep me on track.

All About Love by Room 10
Room 10 wrote a poem on what they believe love looked like based on our 5 senses. Have a look at how we view love all around us...

Finding our way around Ruapotaka
Orienteering was fun for everyone. Learning about the symbols on a map, how to use a map, how to read a map and following north, south, east and west were all apart of orienteering. We always looked forward to our lesson with Leon because we were able to find controls all around Ruapotaka school.
We were learning how to read a map.
Following directions and finding our way.
We found a control and found ourselves in the corner of the multi-purpose room.
Liza learning how to read a map and find her way.
Asking Leon questions.
Still following our maps.
Learning about what orienteering is before we head out into the field.

A Day At The Zoo
We have been learning about predators and preys. We were very fortunate to see the awesome animals at the zoo especially because we have learned a lot about whether they are hunted or the hunters.
All we had to do was observe how the animals acted. We noticed different things including their interaction with other animals. How they treated each other.
The lion den was a class favourite!
The otters were sleeping most of the time but we were able to catch a glimpse of them at one point.
Giraffe drinking water.
These baboons were also a favourite. This was more funny behavior displayed by the baboons.
The seal was awesome. In this beautiful blue home we were able to see the seal swim and eat food.

Playing sport with St Kents
Wow, we have been very fortunate to visit St Kents and do fun sport an team activities but also have them visit us at Ruapotaka and have more sport here!
Playing tag!
This was the human knot. Fakaola looks uncomfortable but she's just trying to get out of a team knot.
Here's another knot.
Watch out Solomone! Playing terminator tag.
