These are my learning goals for the term and year if I need them to be.

My leaning goals by Brazie

This year for my learning I'm going to try to be better than before and finish my work on time. I'm going to use punctuation in my writing and at home I will learn my times tables especially my 6 and 7 times. Also I will find keywords to help me understand the meaning of a story.

Saving the world with Duffy

WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

Duffy took us on a journey with Global Girl and it was full of fun, learning and EXPLOSIONS!

Duffy was very lucky to receive his very own cape. What an honor! Of course if you save the world like Global Girl you're going to need an awesome cape.

Remember the science experiment! Live experiments that showed us an explosion in seconds.

A lot of us were just learning abut how we affected the world we live in.

Including how we affect the beautiful moana that surrounds our lands.

Duffy definitely showed us how we affect our living world. We learned that courage with reading benefitted Global Girl and helped her on her mission to save the world.

Swimming in the cool water

We have kick started swimming and the weather has been awesome!

Practicing our swimming skills has been challenging but has also reminded us of how much we need to improve. This is going to be very useful when we swim in the holiday with our families.

A new class with new goals

We are back! It has been an awesome start to the term. We have settled in to our new class and created a class treaty that we are all trying to abide. We have set personal and class goals and we look forward to reflecting on them at the end of the term. We can't wait to share what we are learning with you. As the new year 6 class we hope to share more detailed and interesting work.

A special day at Ruapotaka

Ruapotaka was very fortunate to have a special St Kent's day dedicated to learning and fun. We had different activities where we practiced or learn new skills.

We had a sausage sizzle and talked to most of the students from St Kents. It was a lot of fun.
